It’s tax season, which means scammers are out in full force looking to take advantage of hardworking North Carolinians. Each year, my office hears from North Carolinians struggling to file their taxes while fending off fraudsters.

Business showcase coming soon to Towns County

The Lake Chatuge Chamber of Commerce will host the Sixth Annual Towns County Business Showcase from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, April 26 at the Towns County Recreation and Conference Center located at 150 Foster Park Road in Young Harris, just off Mining Gap Road.
