By Randy Foster editor@cherokeescout.com   Family and colleagues prepared for Wednesday’s funeral of Cherokee County Detention Center Transport Officer Francisco Flattes, 56, of Hayesville, who was shot and killed while taking an inmate to a medical appointment on Monday, June 30.
