Fall in lake fatal for child

By Becky Long Publisher   A visit to the lake turned tragic on July 15 when a  5-year-old boy died from an apparent accidental drowning in Lake Chatuge. According to the Towns County Sheriff’s Office posting on Facebook, the boy had been reported missing at about 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
