HHS boys and girls track team takes first place

By Amy Trout Guest Writer   Wednesday, April 17 Hayesville hosted nine Smoky Mountain Conference teams. Hayesville boys took second place behind Swain. The girls team came in third behind Swain and Robbinsville.

Golden gloves lift HHS to 13th straight

By Gary Corsair Sports Writer   Hayesville smacked 14 hits, stole 17 bases, had a 5-run second inning and a 6-run sixth, but the Yellow Jackets’ resounding 11-1 win over visiting Robbinsville Monday was more than just a display of offensive might. Hayesville’s defense was absolutely marvelous.

Hayesville girls seek second win and consistency
