Hayesville schools fare well in Tri-County cross country meet

On Aug. 31 the Hayesville Varsity Cross Country team competed at Tri_County Early College Jaquar Jungle Run. The Jackets boys and girls finished as follows. TCEC-Jaquar Jungle Run. The Lady Jackets finished in second place and the Jackets took third against seven competitors.

Lady Jackets’ winning momentum continues

By Chad Stack Sports Writer   The Lady Yellow Jackets defeated Highlands Thursday, Aug. 25, three sets to 0 improving  5-1 on the season. After Hayesville fell to Franklin on Thursday, Aug. 18, they came back and earned three consecutive wins.

JV Jackets erupt for 64 points in season opener

Lady Jackets open season with win

By Chad Stack Sports Writer   The Lady Yellow Jackets won their first match to start the 2022 season 1-0 against Tuscola High School, of Waynesville, on Monday, Aug. 15. After a lot of back and forth in the first set, Tuscola started to pull away with a 13-8 lead in the first set.
