Ruth Penland, left, and Sue Crittenden, right, will have a drop-in celebration for their birthdays from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, June 17 at First Baptist Church in Swannanoa, N.C. Penland will be 105 on June 18 and Crittenden will be 100 on August 2. Anyone who would like to attend will be welcomed. The family requests no gifts.
