Barbara ‘Bobbie’ Pachy

Barbara “Bobbie” Pachy, 79, of Hayesville, passed away Friday, Oct. 25, 2019 in the Clay County Care Center. She was a native of Unionville, Mich. and graduated from Unionville High School. She had worked most of her life as a real estate agent and was licensed in both Michigan and Florida.

Amanda Stewart, 48, of Hayesville, passed away Monday, Sept. 23, 2019 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late, C.D. Garrett and Selma Jean Potter Garrett. Amanda is survived by a daughter, Autumn Shook; son, Cassidy Stewart, and a sister, Angie Guffey, all of Hayesville.

Mr. Michael W. McCray, 60, of Hayesville, passed away Thursday, Oct. 17, 2019.  Mr. McCray was born Jan. 18, 1959 in Murphy, N.C. to the late Theron McCray and Ellavee Canup McCray. He was a member of Fires Creek Baptist Church. He enjoyed working outside and loved spoiling on his pet bird 'Baby.

Betty E. Rowland, 97, of Kissimmee, Fla., formerly of Warne, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2019. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21 in the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home, Hayesville. The family received friends from 11:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m.

Julia Penland Dellinger, 95, of Cullowhee, N.C., died in her home surrounded by her family and canine companions, on Friday Oct. 11, 2019.  Julia was born at home on May 3, 1924 to Margie Allison Penland and Ernest Demur Penland in Shooting Creek as the youngest of four children.

Dorothy Ann Allison, 68, of Brasstown, passed away Monday, Oct. 7, 2019 at North East Georgia Medical Center. She was born in Cherokee County, N.C. to the late Hobert and Inez Holloway Morrow. Dorothy worked as a fast food manager.
