Dale Garrison, 83, of Hayesville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, March 4, 2023. She was born in Andrews to the late George Garfield and Madge Marie White Postell and was the wife of the late Glen Henry Garrison, who died Aug. 20, 2009.

James William 'Jack' Wimpey

James William “Jack” Wimpey, 95, of Murphy, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, Feb. 24, 2023. He was born in Brasstown, May 9, 1927 to the late William Francis and Eula Mae Zimmerman Wimpey. He was the oldest of three children.

Jordan Elizabeth Berrong

Jordan Elizabeth Berrong, 29, of Marble, N.C. passed away at her home on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023. She was born in Sylva, N.C. to Brad Berrong and Tammy Horton Berrong. Jordan enjoyed playing softball and soccer. While playing soccer she was known as the "Terminator.

Jeanette Patterson Parker, 88, of Hayesville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2023. She was a native and lifetime resident of Clay County and a member of Bethel Harvest church.

Cora Waldroup Larson Clark

Cora Waldroup Larson Clark, 79, of Hayesville, formerly of the Snowbird Community of Robbinsville, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Jan. 2, 2023, of complications of severe COPD and Lewy Body Dementia at the Clay County Care Center. Her husband, Basil B.

Elive McClure Mull

Elive McClure Mull, 94, of Hayesville passed away Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2022 in a Towns County Ga. hospital. She was a native and lifetime resident of Clay County. She was raised on a farm and continued to enjoy working on the farm throughout her life.

Betty Louise Siegle Stark

Betty Louise Siegle Stark, of Richmond, Va., died on Christmas Eve, Saturday, Dec. 24, at the age of 90. Born Nov. 19, 1932 to Arthur Goodwin Siegle and Mattie Estelle (Thomas) Siegle in Denver, Colo., she is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, the Rev. Dr. Rufus Haywood.

Joyce Miller Ware

Joyce Miller Ware, 81 of Brasstown passed away on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2022 in a Towns County, Ga. hospital. She was a native of Clay County and moved to Asheville and began working at the paper mill. Joyce then moved to Hickory working as a manager at Woolworth’s.

Mr. James Steven Hall

Mr. James Steven Hall, 81, of Slave Drive, Hayesville, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, Dec. 24, 2022 in the Union General Hospital following an extended illness. Mr. Hall was born on June 2, 1941 in Hayesville.

Terry Finis Kitchens, 75, of Hayesville, passed away Saturday, Dec. 24, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 30 at Chatuge Hills Assembly of God. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday evening at Ivie Funeral Home, Hayesville.
