DSS worker earns state recognition

School’s back in session

By Lorrie Ross Staff Writer   Students and staff of Clay County Schools had a mostly uneventful first day of classes on Monday, Aug. 29. Well, other than comforting words needed by some students, parents and  staff.

Plans move forward on new school

By Marcia Barnes Staff Writer   Plans are going forward for the new Hayesville Middle School. There will be a dedication for the new school’s flag pole called the Gibson Memorial Dedication from 8:30-9 a.m. Friday, Sept. 9.
