Ruby Bradshaw Worley, 79 of Hayesville passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021. She was born in Macon County to the late William and Eula Morgan Bradshaw. She had worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Ruby enjoyed sewing and quilting, and enjoyed going to church.

Janice Hall Day

Janice Hall Day, 88, of Hiawassee, Ga., was called home by the Heavenly Angels on Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2021. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 7, 2021 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. Rev. Dennis Miles officiated. Interment was in the church cemetery.

Erik Sawyer Byers, infant, passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021. Erik was born to Erik Donovan and Brittany Nicole Byers. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandparents, great grandparents, aunts, uncles and a cousin. A private family service will be held.

Louis Maresca passed away on October 7th, 2021 of COVID-19 at the age of 64. Louis was born to Anthony and Dolores Maresca in New Jersey. He grew up in Sarasota Florida and lived the last 13 years in Hayesville, North Carolina.

Annie Mae Bradley Brown, age 88 of Young Harris, Georgia passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Edna Estee Ramey Bradley. Annie had worked for Tigers Dry Goods as a sales person and cashier.

Cheryl Leigh Linville-Notchie, 58, of Hayesville, passed away Oct. 28, 2021 following an extended illness. She was born Dec. 10, 1962 in South Bend, Ind.

 Kevin Craig Cheever, age 60 of Warne, NC passed away Friday, October 29, 2021.       He was born in Wisconsin to Louise Morris Cheever of Dalton, GA and the late Cecil Cheever. Kevin was owner/operator of Arrowhead Garbage Disposal.

Florence Elaine Carlisle, 85, of Marietta, Georgia passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at her daughter’s home in Hayesville, North Carolina. She was a native of Acworth, Georgia, but lived most of her life in Marietta, Georgia.

Henry Milton Meinecke

Henry Milton Meinecke, 78, was born in Memphis, Tenn. on January 18, 1943, the eldest child of Orval and Betty (Wendland) Meinecke. He and his siblings grew up on a small farm in Hot Springs, Ariz. where their dad was a veterinarian in town and their mom ran the household.
